Hi! My name is Crystal Jones, the owner of Mac-A-Holics Macarons :). I would like to share my journey with you starting way back since I was a little girl.

Since I can remember, my great-grandmother, grandmother, and mother were and are AMAZING cooks and bakers! My love of being in the kitchen is a big part of my heritage and family history.

I spent hours as a child in the kitchen with my mom. The kitchen is where we spent time bonding and sharing life. Watching her cook and bake gave me the desire and confidence to develop my own culinary skills.

Early in 2017, I started experimenting with baking macarons. My husband really likes them so I decided to give them a try. I absolutely fell in love with the process and the beautiful and delicious results. I love exploring with different flavors and color combinations.

Wisconsin home baking became legal in November 2017 so I was able to start selling macarons and start the process of growing my new found hobby into a business! Mac-A-Holics was born! I participated in my first farmers market the summer of 2018 and loved it. I also love doing custom orders and adding special and unique touches to weddings and special events!

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband and my chief taste tester, our daughter. I enjoy working out (shout out to the WERQ and TurnUp team!), cooking and of course baking! I am a full-time accountant by day, a profession that has helped me navigate the financial side of being an entrepreneur. Even though I work full-time during the day, I was able to grow my business with the use of Christine’s Kitchens, a commercial kitchen and retail store based in Madison, Wisconsin.

Mac-A-Holics has given me an opportunity to turn my passion into a business.  I am so excited to continue on this journey and share my labor of love with you all!

“If baking is any labor at all, it's a labor of love. A love that gets passed from generation to generation”. -Regina Brett
